A rectangular area rug with a classic Persian medallion layout rendered in a faded, distressed finish. The base field is a muted cool gray with slate blue tones throughout, and a large central medallion in deeper blue-gray anchors the design with intricate floral scrollwork and geometric detailing. The surrounding field is filled with an allover pattern of small floral and vine motifs in similar tonal blues and grays, creating a tone-on-tone washed effect. A multi-line border frames the entire rug with repeating traditional ornamental motifs. The pile is very low and smooth with a machine-woven surface texture. The overall impression is of a well-aged antique Persian rug with a cool, serene color palette — sophisticated but not heavy.
