Centered on the rug is a large white rectangular medallion containing a bold geometric motif of four opposing triangles arranged in a pinwheel or bowtie formation — the triangles are crisp navy against the white field, creating a strong graphic contrast. Subtle linear and diamond-shaped detailing is etched across the navy ground in slightly lighter or darker navy tones, giving the field a textured, slightly distressed quality.
