A rectangular traditional Persian-style area rug with a dominant slate blue field and a large, ornate central medallion rendered in cream, ivory, and warm beige with intricate floral and scrollwork detailing. The field is filled with dense floral vine motifs in gray and cream tones. A multi-layered border frames the rug — the main border features repeating floral and foliate patterns in cream and gray on a lighter background, with narrower guard borders in blue and ivory. The overall finish has a gently faded, distressed quality giving it a vintage heirloom appearance. The pile is very low and smooth with a machine-woven surface texture.
