- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

An oval-shaped area rug with a dramatic ombre gradient design: a deep, dark charcoal center that gradually transitions through medium gray into a soft, pale light gray at the outer edges.
