Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.

A rectangular high-pile area rug with a light-to-medium gray base and a bold ikat diamond pattern rendered in deep charcoal and near-black. The ikat motifs are composed of irregular, brushstroke-like dashes and dots arranged in a classic ogee/diamond lattice formation — the pattern has a slightly distressed, hand-painted quality with soft edges rather than crisp lines. The center features a large open diamond medallion shape, with smaller flanking diamonds above and below. The pile has visible texture and depth, with a slightly high-low effect that gives the pattern dimension.
