A rectangular hand-knotted wool area rug with an allover ikat-inspired abstract damask pattern. The color palette transitions in a soft ombre effect from muted dusty purple and slate teal at the top, through warm golden brown and tan in the middle, to soft cream and blush pink at the lower portion. The pattern features flowing, slightly blurred ikat motifs — scrolling botanical and damask-like forms — distributed across the entire field with no distinct border, giving it a painterly, organic quality. The pile is medium height with a slightly textured, handmade surface appearance. Short ivory fringe runs along the two short ends of the rug.
