A rectangular hand-knotted wool area rug with a dusty, muted blue field covering the majority of the surface. The central field features a repeating geometric diamond lattice pattern — large overlapping diamonds outlined in olive-gray and warm tan, each filled with small stylized floral and botanical motifs in gold, beige, and soft green. The diamonds are arranged in a staggered grid across the entire field. A multi-step border frames the rug: an inner narrow geometric stripe band, followed by a wider main border filled with a continuous scrolling floral vine in beige and gold on a tan ground, then a final narrow outer guard stripe. The pile is medium height with a slightly textured, hand-knotted surface showing natural wool variation. Short natural-colored fringe (approximately 1.3 inches) runs along both short ends. The overall impression is of a softly aged, traditional Persian-inspired rug with a calm, dusty color palette.
