A rectangular flatweave rug with a bold two-tone bordered design. The center field is a deep, near-charcoal black covering approximately 70% of the rug surface, woven with a tight, slightly textured hand-woven construction that shows subtle variation in the weave. Surrounding the black center is a wide, clean rectangular border in warm natural tan jute — approximately 3-4 inches wide — creating a strong graphic frame. The outermost edge has a narrow secondary black binding. The surface is flat with no pile, and the woven texture of both the black recycled fabric and the natural jute is visible up close.
