A rectangular vintage Persian-style area rug with a large central star medallion in deep navy, teal, and rust set against a muted seafoam and cream field. The medallion features intricate floral and geometric scrollwork radiating outward, with matching corner spandrels in the field. The overall surface has a deliberately faded, distressed finish giving it a sun-worn, antique appearance. A multi-band border frames the rug with repeating floral and geometric motifs in navy, teal, rust, and cream. The pile is extremely low and flat, with a smooth machine-woven surface. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
