A rectangular flatweave area rug hand-woven entirely from leather strips in layered tones of medium gray, charcoal, and soft silver. The surface has a subtle horizontal linear texture created by the woven leather construction, with slight tonal variation across the field giving it an organic, almost abstract quality. There is no pile — the surface is completely flat and smooth with a slight sheen from the leather material. The edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. At a glance, the rug reads as a solid deep gray with enough tonal movement to feel textured and artisan-made rather than flat or printed.
