Overlaid across the entire field is an irregular, hand-drawn-style grid of thin charcoal-black lines forming a loose checkered pattern — the lines are slightly imperfect and organic-looking, giving the rug a relaxed, artisanal quality rather than a rigid geometric feel. The pile is visibly thick and fluffy, with a soft texture apparent even in the flat image.
