Follow these steps to keep your shag rugs looking their best:
- Use a wool-approved product in combination with spray extraction for cleaning.
- Note that shedding is a normal occurrence for shag rugs and will decrease over time. Avoid pulling the yarn out as it may cause rug damage.

A rectangular plush shag area rug with a bright ivory/off-white base and soft charcoal gray geometric patterning arranged in distinct horizontal bands across the full surface. The bands alternate between different Moroccan-inspired motifs: diamond lattice trellis rows, large oval medallion chains, smaller repeating geometric ornaments, and delicate dotted border rows. The gray motifs are rendered in a slightly fuzzy, textured style consistent with the plush pile construction. The pile is visibly thick and soft-looking, with a slight sheen from the polyester fibers. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is of a soft, globally-inspired rug that reads as neutral and airy from a distance.
