Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

A rectangular area rug with a soft cream/ivory base field covered in an allover repeating small diamond lattice pattern rendered in medium charcoal gray. The diamonds are small and tightly spaced, creating a dense geometric texture across the entire center field. The rug is framed by multiple concentric border bands — an inner thin line border, a wider band of larger diamond motifs in dark gray, a row of small arrow/chevron details, and an outermost thin line border — all in coordinating charcoal and gray tones against the cream ground.
