Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

A rectangular area rug with a warm cream/ivory base and an allover repeating diamond trellis pattern formed by dotted and textured gray lines. The diamonds are medium-sized and evenly spaced across the entire field, with small decorative dot clusters at each intersection point. The border features a subtle chevron-like zigzag stripe in gray framing the field. The pile has a visible high-low texture — the pattern lines appear slightly raised or looped against the flatter cream background, giving a dimensional, almost handcrafted appearance. The edges are finished with ivory/cream twisted tassel fringe approximately 4 inches long on all four sides. Overall impression: soft, neutral, globally inspired, and textural.
