A rectangular flatweave area rug with a classic Turkish medallion layout. The central field is a deep slate blue-gray filled edge-to-edge with dense, intricate traditional floral and geometric allover motifs in slightly lighter and darker tones of blue, gray, and muted teal, creating a rich tapestry effect. A prominent central diamond medallion in cream and ivory anchors the composition, with a smaller secondary medallion at its heart. The field is framed by multiple concentric borders — the innermost a narrow geometric band, the outermost a wider ornate floral scroll border in warm beige, cream, and soft red accents. Corner quarter-medallion motifs echo the central design. The overall finish has a deliberately faded, distressed quality — colors appear softly washed out as if sun-aged — giving it an antique heirloom appearance. The surface is smooth and flat with a very low pile, machine-woven with a tight, even construction. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
