A rectangular machine-woven area rug with a classic distressed Persian medallion design. The field is a warm sandy beige with a faded, worn-in appearance throughout. A large central medallion in medium brown and tan features layered diamond and floral motifs, surrounded by intricate scrolling floral fill patterns across the field. Multiple concentric borders frame the design — the outermost border in medium brown with repeating floral and vine motifs, inner borders in lighter tan and cream. The overall surface has a deliberately faded, antique-washed quality with soft contrast between tones. The pile is low and smooth with a machine-woven texture. Short fringe detail runs along the two short ends of the rug in a natural cream/beige tone. The overall impression is of a well-loved vintage Persian rug in a warm, neutral earth-tone palette.
