A rectangular hand-woven flatweave rug in warm gray and sandy beige tones. The central design features a large diamond medallion composed of concentric diamond outlines, filled with dense rows of small triangles and geometric chevron-like motifs in charcoal gray and white on a medium gray ground. Surrounding the central medallion, the field is populated with evenly spaced small white cross or plus-sign motifs on a warm beige-gray background. A stepped diamond border frames the central medallion. The outer edge of the rug has a subtle striped border. Short knotted tassel fringe in natural cream/beige runs along both short ends. The weave texture is flat and tight with a slightly textured surface visible. Overall impression is earthy, artisan, and boldly geometric with a tribal southwestern character.
