A rectangular machine-woven area rug with a classic Persian medallion layout. The field is a muted, weathered mid-gray with a large central diamond medallion rendered in soft cream and light gray, surrounded by intricate floral scrollwork and arabesques in cream, beige, and faint teal. The overall surface has a deliberately faded, distressed appearance — colors are desaturated and worn-looking rather than vivid. A multi-layered border frames the rug: the outermost band is a dusty teal-gray with a repeating small floral vine motif, followed by inner guard borders in cream and gray. The pile is very low and smooth with a flat, machine-woven texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
