A rectangular shag area rug in solid, deep matte black covering the entire surface with a uniformly thick, long-pile texture approximately 1.5 inches high — the pile appears dense, fluffy, and slightly directional, giving the surface a rich, velvety depth. The rug has no pattern or design — it is completely solid black from edge to edge. Along both short ends, crisp white tassel fringe approximately 3 inches long hangs evenly, providing the only color contrast on the rug.
