- Use a dry cotton or white paper towel to blot out as much of the stain as possible.
- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

A rectangular flatweave area rug with a bold, repeating nested diamond (trellis) geometric pattern. The dominant color is a warm golden yellow, forming the diamond outlines and fills, set against a crisp white and off-white background. The diamonds are arranged in a tight, allover grid — each large diamond contains progressively smaller concentric diamonds inside it, creating a graphic, layered effect. The surface is smooth and flat with a very low profile (machine-woven, no visible pile texture). Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
