A rectangular, low-pile hand-knotted rug with an allover abstract, painterly design. The base is a soft warm beige and cream, with large irregular bursts and washes of rust, burnt orange, and terracotta concentrated toward the upper portion and edges, fading organically into the lighter center. The pattern has a distressed, weathered quality — like aged plaster or a sun-bleached fresco — with no hard edges or repeating motifs.
