- Use a dry cotton or white paper towel to blot out as much of the stain as possible.
- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

A rectangular flatweave rug with a deep navy blue background covering the entire field. Centered on the rug is a large circle filled with evenly spaced, thin vertical white stripes that run from the top to the bottom of the circle, creating a bold optical effect. The stripes are crisp white against the navy, with the circle's curved edges cleanly cutting off the lines. Framing the rug at the top and bottom are two sets of thin horizontal white stripe borders — approximately three parallel lines each — adding a structured, graphic finish. The edges are bound with no fringe or tassels. The surface is smooth and flat with a very low profile, consistent with machine-woven flatweave construction.
