A rectangular traditional Persian-style area rug with a warm ivory/cream ground covering the majority of the field. At the center sits a large diamond-shaped medallion rendered in deep red, navy blue, and forest green with intricate cross and floral motifs inside. The entire field surrounding the medallion is filled with a dense allover pattern of small botanical and floral scrollwork in muted green, red, tan, and navy. A multi-layered border frames the rug — the main border features repeating ornamental motifs in red and navy on an ivory ground, with narrower guard borders in navy and red flanking it. The corners of the border feature decorative bracket-shaped elements in navy. The pile is low and smooth with a machine-woven surface texture. Edges are bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is of a richly detailed, jewel-toned traditional Persian carpet with a light, airy ivory base.
