A rectangular area rug with a classic Persian medallion layout. The field is soft ivory/cream, hosting a large central medallion in cobalt blue and navy with intricate floral and scrollwork detailing. Four smaller floral corner motifs echo the central design. The entire field is framed by a wide, ornate navy blue border filled with repeating floral and vine patterns, with a thin ivory guard stripe on the inner edge. The overall finish has a deliberately distressed, faded quality — colors appear slightly washed out and worn, giving the rug an antique heirloom appearance. The pile is medium height with a smooth, machine-woven surface texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
