- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

A rectangular area rug with a deep black background dominating approximately 65% of the surface. The central design features a large ornate Persian-style medallion in white and light gray, with intricate floral scrollwork, leaf motifs, and symmetrical vine patterns radiating outward from the center. The field surrounding the medallion is filled with additional smaller floral and foliate motifs in white and gray against the black ground. Multiple concentric borders frame the design — an inner geometric border and an outer decorative border with repeating floral and scroll elements, all in white and gray on black. The entire rug has a deliberately distressed, faded finish that softens the contrast and gives it an antique, worn appearance. The pile is low and smooth with a machine-woven surface texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
