A rectangular hand-knotted wool rug in a classic Oushak style. The field is a warm, washed tan-khaki base covered in an allover repeating pattern of stylized floral sprays, palmette medallions, and curvilinear vine scrollwork. Motifs are rendered in cream, ivory, soft teal-blue, and light brown against the tan ground, creating a layered, slightly faded antique appearance. The border features a complementary floral vine in similar tones. The pile is very low and tight, giving the surface a smooth, almost velvety appearance with subtle texture variation. Short ivory fringe runs along both short ends. The overall impression is of a sun-washed, well-aged Turkish village rug with a soft, harmonious palette.
