- Use a dry cotton or white paper towel to blot out as much of the stain as possible.
- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

A rectangular low-pile area rug with an allover abstract distressed pattern resembling aged, weathered paint or a watercolor wash. The base is a mottled cream and light gray, overlaid with large, irregular cloud-like patches of mustard gold, dusty sky blue, and warm rust-brown that bleed and overlap organically across the surface. The colors have no hard edges — they fade and blend into each other, creating a painterly, worn-fresco effect. The pile is very short and smooth with a tight machine-woven texture visible up close. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression at a glance is of an abstract expressionist painting rendered in warm earth tones and cool blue accents.
