A rectangular hand woven wool area rug featuring an allover repeating honeycomb pattern of concentric hexagons. The dominant color is a warm, saturated golden yellow filling the center of each hexagon. Moving outward, each hexagon is ringed with a band of light gray, then a thinner band of cream or off-white, and finally outlined sharply in dark charcoal brown-black. The hexagons tile seamlessly edge to edge with no visible background field, creating a dense, graphic mosaic effect. The surface has a medium-pile woven texture with visible weave structure.
