A rectangular hand woven wool rug with a cream/ivory base and an allover repeating tribal geometric diamond lattice pattern. Each large diamond contains a smaller nested diamond or hexagonal medallion motif at its center, rendered in bold black outlines with heathered gray fill in the background lattice areas. The pattern is dense and symmetrical, covering the entire field with no plain border — the geometric motifs run edge to edge. The pile is visibly thick and plush with a slightly high-low texture suggesting hand woven construction. Along both the top and bottom short edges, rows of knotted tassel fringe hang approximately 3.5 inches in cream/natural tones.
