A rectangular hand-woven wool rug with a warm cream/off-white base covering approximately 55% of the surface. Across the entire field, a repeating diagonal trellis grid of medium gray diamond shapes is filled with layered aztec-style medallion motifs — each large diamond contains a smaller diamond with a bold charcoal center star or cross detail, creating a rich nested geometric effect. The diamonds alternate slightly in scale and detail, giving the pattern a handcrafted, folk-art quality. The pile is plush and textured with visible high-low variation, giving the surface a dimensional, tactile appearance. Both short ends are finished with long (approximately 3.5-inch) cream-colored twisted tassels that hang freely.
