Product Highlights
Silky viscose pile, soft taupe-and-gray tones, and a subtle sheen that reads expensive — the Auchter Soli brings quiet luxury to any modern space.
- Hand-loomed 100% viscose — silky, lustrous sheen underfoot
- Soft taupe and gray palette works with almost any decor
- Medium pile (0.25 in) with 0.46 in total thickness — plush feel
- Abstract brushstroke texture adds depth without bold pattern
- Canvas backing — use with a rug pad for best results
- Spot clean with water only to maintain sheen and longevity
A rectangular, medium-pile area rug with a predominantly warm taupe surface blending into cool silver-gray tones, creating a subtle abstract, brushstroke-like texture across the entire field. The color variation is soft and organic — not a bold pattern, but a gentle tonal shift that gives the surface depth and visual interest. The viscose pile produces a noticeable directional sheen, so the rug appears lighter or darker depending on viewing angle. The border is a slightly deeper, more defined taupe tone that frames the rug with a clean, minimal edge. Pile is smooth and uniform with no fringe or tassels. Overall impression: a sophisticated, monochromatic rug that reads as quietly luxurious and modern.

Viscose Rugs
Viscose rugs bring a soft, silky feel and a subtle sheen that adds elegance to any space. They capture the look of silk at a more affordable price, making them a stylish choice for decorative areas.
Because viscose is more delicate than wool or synthetics, these rugs are best in lower-use rooms such as bedrooms or formal living spaces. With the right care, they can keep their smooth texture and lustre for years.
Pros & Cons of Viscose Rugs
- ➕ Soft, smooth texture with a silk-like look
- ➕ Adds gentle shine and rich colour to interiors
- ➖ Sensitive to moisture and heavy wear
- ➖ Works best in moderate-use spaces
Living Room
When selecting a living room rug, choose one that anchors your furniture by either placing all the legs on the rug or just the front legs, which helps define the seating area and enhances the room’s acoustics.
Dining Room
When selecting a dining room rug, choose one large enough to fit under the table and chairs, ensuring that when the chairs are pulled out, they remain on the rug for a balanced look.
Bedroom
In the bedroom, opt for a rug that extends under the bed, providing a soft surface to step onto when getting out of bed and creating a cozy atmosphere.
Kitchen
For the kitchen, select a rug to place in front of the sink or under the countertops, offering comfort while standing and adding warmth to the space.
Bathroom
Choose a bathroom rug that fits comfortably in front of the sink or shower, providing a soft and absorbent surface for stepping out. For larger bathrooms, consider a rug that covers more area to enhance warmth and comfort.
Outdoor
For outdoor spaces like patios or decks, select a rug that complements the size of your seating area, leaving enough space around the furniture to create a well-defined and inviting look. Opt for weather-resistant materials to ensure durability.
