- Use a dry cotton or white paper towel to blot out as much of the stain as possible.
- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

A rectangular area rug with a cream/off-white base covered in large, overlapping circular motifs of varying sizes. The circles are rendered in slate gray, periwinkle blue, soft lavender-blue, and deep navy, each filled with concentric rings of small dots, arcs, and textured bands that give a mandala or mosaic-like appearance. The circles overlap and bleed off the edges, creating a dynamic, layered composition. The pile is very low and flat with a smooth machine-woven surface showing subtle texture.
