- Use a dry cotton or white paper towel to blot out as much of the stain as possible.
- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

A rectangular runner rug with a bright white/off-white base completely covered in an allover large-scale floral pattern. The design features oversized circular sunflower-like medallions with layered petals in deep red, burnt orange, and golden yellow, interspersed with star-shaped flowers in teal and cobalt blue, and large rounded leaves in blue-gray and sage green. Small scattered accent blooms in red and blue dot the negative space. The pile is very low and flat with a slightly textured machine-woven surface.
