- Use a dry cotton or white paper towel to blot out as much of the stain as possible.
- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

A rectangular area rug featuring bold, evenly-spaced horizontal stripes alternating between warm sunshine yellow and soft ivory-cream. The yellow stripes are slightly wider and have a subtle heathered texture from the woven polypropylene construction, giving them a slightly mottled, natural appearance rather than a flat solid color. The ivory stripes are clean and bright, providing strong contrast. The pile is very low and flat — a tight flatweave surface with a smooth, machine-woven texture.
