A rectangular handmade wool area rug with a deep rust-red dominant field. At the center sits a large stepped diamond medallion in layered teal, cream, tan, and dark brown, with a small white diamond at its core. Four eight-pointed star motifs in cream and brown flank the medallion in the corners of the field. The rug is framed by multiple geometric borders: a wide outer band featuring repeating diamond and stepped-triangle motifs in cream, teal, tan, and black on a lighter ground, with narrower rust and cream stripe bands separating the borders. The pile is medium-high and dense with a slightly textured wool surface. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
