Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

We already have this rug in 8 x 10 and were looking for a smaller one to match it. Our larger one does fine without padding or nonslip rug pad, possibly because our LVP flooring has a textured surface. Other floor types may require it. We love the neutral mixed colors and pattern. Boutique Rugs offered the best pricing and free shipping.

Other rugs might be flashier, but if you want a cool rug that seems to blend Orientalism with Jackson Pollack then look no further! Plus, it's well-woven, has multiple levels in the weave, and goes with practically anything -- even its pink-red sections pick up various colors in room. Two thumbs up.
