Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

I am an interior designer that needed an inexpensive rug to coordinate with an upholstered headboard. As it can often be difficult to get a true sense of what the rug will actually look like from a photograph, I was encouraged by a customer service representative to purchase the smallest size. This allowed me to check the color, texture and quality on a ‘smaller scale’ and make my decision. I purchased the 2’6” x 4’ size, found it worked perfectly with the headboard, and then order the larger size needed for the room. Boutique Rugs issued a return shipping label for the smaller rug and I returned it promptly. Where the rug was so small, it was inexpensive and convenient for me to return to a local FedEx drop off location. I received the larger rug while the smaller rug was in transit. Boutique Rugs has already credited my credit card payment for the smaller rug (minus the minimal return shipping charge). I am very happy with the end result. The rug has the faded, worn look of hand knotted Persian rug without the expensive price tag! Though I own many lovely hand knotted rugs and I love and respect the workmanship and beauty that is woven in to each and every one, I was still pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of this rug. I included one photo but I think the rug looks nicer on the floor than in the photo and works perfectly with the fabric. I would definitely consider making future purchases with Boutique Rugs.

I ordered this rug to use in our air bnb living room. I wanted something soft and cushiony underfoot, but also economical. This rug is it! The colors are very muted, unlike the first photo, but I love the muted colors in my space. I’d really like to buy a replacement as the one I originally purchased was ruined by Hurricane Helene. Hotel be back in stock soon!
