Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

This rug was a perfect match for my room. Decent quality and was shocked at how soft it is. I love it! Only draw back is that it cannot be cleaned with a rug shampooer and only spot cleaned, which seems impractical for a rug. Didn’t read that before purchasing, but I believe the info is there. I love the rug and will figure out the cleaning part down the road. Also have a larger one in the living room, but didn’t have a good picture of it.
