Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

The perfect pop of color!

I absolutely love this rug. It is the perfect fit to my eclectic style and with the right pop of color that I wanted. The colors are much bolder than in the online photos (online it looked more light or distressed) but I actually like it better. I will definitely purchase more from BoutiqueRugs!

Not as pictured and expensive returns

Hi was really excited when I saw the advertisement for Boutique Rugs because their selection was really good. Being a repeat buyer of RugsUSA, I was thrilled to have more rug options to choose from at really reasonable prices. When I got the Ludlow rug, it was not quite as pictured. Now, having purchased many rugs before I come to expect that as you cannot always convey the nuances in shading in a rug until you see it in your home. So unfortunately, it was much more blue than teal/green/aqua as I perceived from the picture and just didn't go with my room at all. Rug was in good shape though, quality for the price. As a result, I had to return and hoped to get another from Boutique as I had been pleased with my experience thus far. However, upon requesting to return I was hit with a $30 return fee which was very surprising. I could have missed this on the site, but I just had no idea and it set me back over 25% of the original purchase price, which is quite a lot. Especially with a product that we all know cannot be photographed to perfection and this is a piece that will live in your home ideally for years, it is one that needs a good return policy to make sense for me as a consumer. It prevented me from wanting to purchase anything further from Boutique, so I'm back to RugsUSA where they do free shipping/returns.

Q: No larger options (12 x 14)? It's the perfect rug but the 9 x 12 is too small for our space.
